AN INVESTIGATION into the loss of patients' records has been demanded after it was revealed 104 were reported missing or stolen by NHS boards in Scotland last year.
It follows the discovery last week of confidential patient notes dumped beside a bin in Dundee.
The new figure was uncovered by a Freedom of Information request by the LibDems whose health spokeswoman, Alison McInness, said Health Secretary Nicola Sturgeon should launch a Scotland-wide investigation into the NHS management of patient records.
