It follows the discovery last week of confidential patient notes dumped beside a bin in Dundee.
The new figure was uncovered by a Freedom of Information request by the LibDems whose health spokeswoman, Alison McInness, said Health Secretary Nicola Sturgeon should launch a Scotland-wide investigation into the NHS management of patient records.
