Labour to call for additional Budget U-turns

LABOUR last night called for three further Budget concessions following a series of Coalition U-turns since March.

The party wants to stop the cut of the 50p tax rate for high earners and prevent a change in age-related allowances, known as the "granny tax".

It also wants the Government to introduce a bankers' bonus tax to fund a guaranteed job for every young person out of work for more than a year.
