Megrahi inquiry decision delayed

MSPs have agreed to hold off making a decision about a public inquiry into the conviction of Abdelbaset al Megrahi for the Lockerbie bombing for a month, pending correspondence with the Justice Secretary.

The Justice for Megrahi campaign say they have fresh evidence of a miscarriage of justice in relation to forensic evidence. They have given Kenny MacAskill 30 days to respond, after that they plan to release it.
