Moore blasted by SNP on second referendum plan

SCOTTISH Secretary Michael Moore has been accused of "wittering" and spouting "irrelevant nonsense" by the SNP Government as Westminster and Holyrood clashed over the independence referendum.

A spokesman for Alex Salmond launched a scathing attack on Mr Moore after he said yesterday a second referendum authorised by the UK Government would be required if there was a “yes” vote in the ballot planned by the First Minister.
