MSPs to scrutinise Scots police force

MSPs are planning to form a committee to scrutinise Scotland's national police force, amid concern about problems surrounding its establishment.

A request to establish a sub-committee has been made by the Justice Committee, with the remit of overseeing the Police Service of Scotland as it goes live on April 1.
