Defiant unions vow fresh strike chaos

UNION leaders have raised the spectre of months of strikes as a Cabinet minister warned public sector staff they have just a fortnight to agree a pensions deal or face a worse settlement.

Neither side appeared to give any leeway in the dispute, which will see tens of thousands take to the streets in Scotland tomorrow.

Up to two million people across the UK are expected to protest at plans to make them pay more and work longer for smaller pensions.
