PM reveals house plans

The Coalition has unveiled England-only plans to boost house-building and make it easier to buy homes, as it attempts to drag the economy out of recession.

Prime Minister David Cameron said the move would create 70,000 new houses and 140,000 jobs.

Mr Cameron said it would show that his Coalition Government "means business in delivering plans to help people, build new homes and kick-start the economy".
