David Cameron responded to a letter by a constituent working for Coastguard SOS saying "centres that are planned for closure will remain open until 2015".

PM's coastguard closure blunder
The Prime Minister has had to issue a clarification after he appeared to suggest coastguard stations earmarked for closure had been given a temporary reprieve.
