Prime Minister David Cameron has met pupils at the Anna Whisnant Elementary School in Monrovia, Liberia, which was once used as army barracks during the civil war but now serves the local community.
Mr Cameron's visit came ahead of him co-chairing the UN High Level Panel, where he was due to argue that international development targets should focus on tackling extreme poverty over the next two decades, with an emphasis on improving civil structures critical to change.
