Poll lead for Labour

Labour has achieved its biggest lead over the Conservatives since the 2010 General Election, according to a new poll.

The survey also showed two in three voters thinks Prime Minister David Cameron and Chancellor George Osborne are out of touch with ordinary people.

The ComRes poll for the Independent found Labour on 44%, up six points, while the Tories were on 33%, down two, and the LibDems on 12%, down three.
