DISGRACED MSP Bill Walker is to face continuing pressure in the run-up to his sentencing for 23 counts of assault against women over a period of almost 30 years.

While the parliamentary pressure ratchets up against the abuser, an online campaign by women's groups has been organised to picket his constituency office in Dunfermline on September 16 to mark the week he faces sentencing for his crimes.

More than 90 MSPs have called for him to do the decent thing and resign and there have been moves to expel him from parliamentary cross-party groups and to slash his pay should he be imprisoned.
