SNP accused of losing principles

Shadow Scottish Secretary Margaret Curran will tonight accuse the SNP of "leaving their principles behind" as the row over a second question in the independence referendum intensifies.

In a speech to the Scottish Fabians in Edinburgh, the Labour MP will reiterate calls for a single question.

The Scottish Government has said it would be prepared to include a second option, on extra powers for Scotland, if there was significant public support.
