HEALTH Secretary Nicola Sturgeon denied claims last night she had misrepresented the position of senior EU officials over the legality of plans for minimum unit pricing of alcohol.
Ms Sturgeon returned from Brussels on Tuesday after meeting three senior officials and claimed they stated the proposals were compliant with EU law.
However, Labour said she had not met the right officials and claimed an email from the staff of one of the commissioners cast doubt on the claim.
