A SCOTS Tory MEP has attacked wind energy, saying it will cost households £3500 a year within a decade and may force Scotland to import nuclear generation from England or France.
Struan Stevenson said Scotland's current energy strategy was wrong at almost every level – strategic, as it would leave the country short of capacity; national, as it would continue to destroy our natural heritage; and personal, as households' bills would rise.
