THE Coalition upped its campaign against independence for Scotland yesterday by announcing that Whitehall departments will produce papers across a range of subjects highlighting the benefits to Scotland of remaining within the UK.
Ahead of Michael Moore's attendance at the British-Irish Council in Scotland tomorrow, the Scottish Secretary told MPs that the UK Government would produce "detailed evidence and analysis to assess the benefits Scotland gains from being part of the UK and the contribution it makes to our UK".
