A NEW petition allowing people in England, Wales and Northern Ireland to express their love for Scotland and urge voters to back a No vote in the referendum has been unveiled online.

Called "To Scotland With Love", the petition is described as a grassroots effort to persuade Scots to stay in the UK.

The website also carries blogs and comments by some of those who have signed the petition.

The initiative is not part of the official cross-party Better Together campaign.

Its launch comes days after details emerged of another pro-UK initiative, the No Borders campaign, which aims to record ordinary Scots' positive thoughts and feelings about being in the UK.
