THE expert panel commissioned by the pro-Union parties to come up with a suggested wording for the independence referendum in 2014 is likely to be asked to appear before a Westminster committee.
Ian Davidson, chairman of the Scottish Affairs committee, said he would discuss with colleagues the prospect of inviting Lord Sutherland, Canadian electoral expert Ron Gould and Dr Matt Qvortrup, an academic specialising in referendum issues.
