SNP lack plans for Scottish MI5 & MI6

SNP ministers have only recently started work on how key powers, including national security, would move from Westminster to an independent Scotland.

Policy scoping exercises on a series of issues currently reserved to Westminster only began last August and September, it has emerged.

Until then SNP government ministers saw no need to develop policies in many reserved areas because there was no realistic prospect of independence.
