The Conservatives have caused a storm on Twitter with their latest general election poster warning of the 'nightmare' of a Labour/SNP coalition.

The poster shows an agreement signed by Salmond, which includes scrapping Trident, more borrowing, higher taxes and unlimited benefits, with a post-it note attached telling Ed Miliband to sign when he's ready. It is the latest in a series of election posters produced by the Conservatives warning voters 'what a Labour/SNP deal would mean for Britain'. However, Twitter users have slammed the poster and asked why Salmond is named instead of First Minister Nicola Sturgeon, the leader of the SNP.

Earlier this week the Conservatives released a new poster featuring an image of Ed Miliband in Alex Salmond's coat pocket. In January the party released their first poster warning of what they call the "nightmare" of a Labour/nationalist coalition at Westminster after May's election. The poster featured a picture of Ed Miliband with his arm around Alex Salmond outside 10 Downing Street and the slogan "Your worst nightmare... just got worse".
