Care workers strike
Council care workers protest outside Glasgow City Council Chambers at the start of a two-day strike over planned changes to their roles and the introduction of longer shifts.
Residential home staff in the Glasgow area say the changes could impact on the service they provide and represent a pay cut of up to 7%.
They said also employees were being asked to work 12-and-a-half-hour shifts.
