Pavement power

It is hard to miss the message.

Spray-painted slogans with the words "Make Your Vote Count" have been applied to get the vote out in North Ayrshire. The quirky idea is aimed at catching voter attention ahead of the European elections on May 22, with the independence referendum due on September 18. Plastic stencils were used by officials to create the graphics at two dozen locations.
