The key movers

New Environment Secretary Liz Truss has made it to the Cabinet after only four years as an MP, and aged only 38.

Leeds-raised Ms Truss was taken on CND marches as a child, but went to a state school, then Oxford, and is a former student Liberal Democrat leader. She founded a group which aims to restore the reputation of liberal economics post-2008.
