Ukip has joined the race for the Dunfermline by-election.
The party, which has no elected representation in Scotland and lost its deposit in the last Scottish Parliament by-election earlier this year, said Peter Adams would stand for the seat. Mr Adams is the party's regional organiser in Scotland and was selected by members in Fife.
