Pressure on Diageo as Johnnie Walker rescue plan is revealed

Pressure has intensified on drinks giant Diageo after Finance Secretary John Swinney said an alternative plan had been drawn up to build a new Johnnie Walker plant on a greenfield site in Kilmarnock to avoid closure of the Port Dundas distillery in Glasgow.
