Proposals to lease forests deserve the chop

Hidden away in the Scottish Government's Scottish Climate Change Bill, which is out for public consultation, is the Forestry Amendment. This is a back door to the privatisation of much of the National Forest Estate (NFE), the land and woodlands owned by the Scottish people.
