The best homegrown talent in film and television will be celebrated at The Lloyds TSB Bafta Scotland Awards tomorrow night.
The red carpet affair at Glasgow City Halls, which has The Herald as its media partner, will draw in stars, including James McAvoy, Robbie Coltrane, Armando Ianucci and Dawn Steele with 16 winners due to be revealed during the ceremony.
Fans at home will not miss out on the event, hosted by Lorraine Kelly, as the awards will be broadcast live via the internet for the very first time.
McAvoy has been nominated in the Best Actor category for his performance in the Last King of Scotland, directed by Kevin Macdonald, a film which is also in the running for Best Feature Film and Best Screenplay.
The Inaccessible Pinnacle, performed in Gaelic, has been nominated as Best Feature Film, with the performance of Angus Peter Campbell leading to a Best Actor nomination.
The screenplay, telling the story of a boy's search for the truth about his parents' deaths, is also up for an award.
The awards start at 6pm.
