Salmon sales leap 22% in two years

The popularity of fresh salmon in the UK is leaping, with consumption at home rising by 22% in two years, according to a report by market research group TNS.

The popularity of fresh salmon in the UK is leaping, with consumption at home rising by 22% in two years, according to a report by market research group TNS.

Fresh salmon meals consumed at home rose from 179 million in 2006 to 219 million this year, says the report.
