Like the calm before the storm, the mood in Glasgow was a little subdued yesterday.
After weeks of hysteria and hype surrounding Scotland's qualifier against Italy, there was little sign of the predicted invasion of fans on the city's streets.

Saltires out in force as city prepares for Italian clash
Glasgow has looked forward to many epic football matches, but none quite like this in recent years. Saltires were in abundance yesterday, hanging from shop-fronts, flat windows and from the backs of taxi cabs.
