Motherwell and Falkirk both declared themselves happy after the draws for the first and second round qualifying rounds of the Europa League.
The Lanarkshire side were handed a first qualifying round tie against Welsh side Llanelli, with Albanians KS Flamurtari Vlore awaiting the winners, while Falkirk's first European tie will be against FC Vaduz, of Liechtenstein, in the second qualifying round.
John Boyle, the Motherwell chairman, said: "I'm delighted with the draw against the Welsh side. From a logistical view, it's ideal. It takes a large part of the uncertainty out of the equation and it also suits the players, although it's still going to be a tough game.
"But we will concentrate on the first round only. It's a bit previous to be deciding that you are going to go through. It's an old cliche, I know, but we will take one round at a time."
The first leg takes place at the Excelsior Stadium in Airdrie - because work is still being carried out on the Fir Park playing surface - next Thursday, but Boyle insisted he would not be rushed into naming a new management team following the departure of Mark McGhee and Scott Leitch to Aberdeen.
The Motherwell players began pre-season training yesterday with defender Stephen Craigan in caretaker charge, but Boyle said: "There are no deadlines at all. There is a lot of talking to be done and a lot of interviewing to be done."
Falkirk, meanwhile, will face a World Cup winner in the shape of former Germany international Pierre Littbarski, now manager of FC Vaduz.
Chairman Martin Ritchie, who will today confirm Eddie May, Steven Pressley and Alex Smith as his club's new management team, said: "It's a good draw and an attractive one. It's a lovely place to go to, not too far-flung, and hopefully a lot of the fans will be able to travel with us out there for the second leg as well as support us in the first leg.
"Looking at some of the other clubs that were in the draw, I think it's an opportunity for us. The players won't have a lot of time to prepare, but the whole club is looking forward to our first-ever European tie and hopefully the team will do us proud."
Darren Barr, the Falkirk captain, added: "I don't know much about Vaduz, apart from the fact they played Livingston a few years ago and their coach played at the highest level.
"It will be a new experience for most of the boys and for the club, but we're just about back for pre-season training and then we'll start our preparations for the first leg, which everybody is looking forward to.
"To get the chance to play in Europe is great, but it's not just about making up the numbers. We want to show what we can do as a team.
"Everybody says it's nice to be in Europe, but the step we want to take is to play well and win as many games as we can. Hopefully we can get through and see where it takes us."
Aberdeen and Hearts will enter the competition at the third qualifying round and play-off stage respectively.
