Skipper Scott Brown returns to the Celtic squad for the Clydesdale Bank Premier League clash against St Johnstone at Parkhead tomorrow.

The Scotland midfielder underwent surgery to solve an abductor problem in March and it was thought he could be out for the rest of the season, but he could make an appearance tomorrow with a view to playing in the William Hill Scottish Cup final against Hibernian at Hampden in a fortnight's time.

Right-back Adam Matthews (hamstring) and wide-man James Forrest (knock) return to the squad, with striker Lassad Nouioui (calf) the only player unfit.

Provisional squad: Forster, Matthews, Lustig, Mulgrew, Izaguirre, Rogne, Wilson, Commons, Forrest, Ambrose, Ledley, Wanyama, Kayal, Stokes, Watt, Samaras, McGeouch, McCourt, Rogic, Zaluska, Hooper.
