Scottish courses will feature prominently on the PGA EuroPro Tour this year with four stops north of the border pencilled into the schedule.

The third-tier circuit, which offers direct promotion to the European Challenge Tour for the top five players on the final order of merit, will visit Montrose, the Carrick on Loch Lomond, the Royal Burgess and Mar Hall during a 15-event campaign.

The Mar Hall contest, from September 3-5, will be the season-ending Tour Championship with the leading 60 players on the money list battling it out on the banks of the Clyde. In the peak season of July, the circuit will stay in Scotland for two weeks with a west-east swing at the Carrick on Loch Lomond and the Royal Burgess in Edinburgh.

In a Ryder Cup year, the new season will swing into action in April at The Belfry, host venue of four Ryder Cups down the years.
