Dunfermline Athletic have signed Scotland under-18 pair Lewis Martin and Ryan Williamson on new long-term deals thanks to donations made by supporters.

The 17-year-olds have broken into the first team in recent weeks and earned international call-ups last month for an under-18 training camp.

Jim Jefferies, the Dunfermline manager, thanked fans for pledging the money through the fundraising Centenary Club Lifeline, which was set up after the club came out of administration. "I asked the supporters to buy into our philosophy of bringing young players on and this is the fruits of all of our labour."
