Chris Iwelumo is on the look out for the 17th club of his senior playing career after leaving Scunthorpe United by mutual consent.

The former Scotland striker had initially signed a contract with the Sky Bet League 2 side until the end of the season.

He scored just two goals in 14 appearances for the Lincolnshire outfit and has now agreed to move on. Now 35, Iwelumo has spent the majority of his career in England but started out at St Mirren in 1995.

He has represented his country four times, although his international career remains marked by a galling miss in a World Cup qualifier against Norway at Hampden.
