Tony Watt continued his resurgent form for Lierse by scoring twice on Saturday in a 4-3 win over Kortrijk.

The Celtic striker, who is on loan with the Belgian club until the end of the season, has now scored four times in his last three appearances.

Such form seems encouraging given that Watt had intimated a desire to cut short his loan deal. He has incurred criticism for his fitness and responded to jibes about his weight by taking his shirt off to celebrate an earlier goal.

He returned to that theme on Saturday following his latest strikes. "My speed has always been my greatest strength, I'm quite quick for a fat guy," said Watt, wryly.
