Henry Pyrgos and Dougie Hall, both Scotland internationalists, have signed new one-year deals with Glasgow Warriors which will keep them at Scotstoun until May 2015 at least.

Having joined the club in 2010, 24-year-old scrum-half Pyrgos has gone on to make 55 appearances in the RaboDirect Pro12 and has 15 in the Heineken Cup. He said: "I love playing for Glasgow and I'm looking forward to staying here and competing for the No.9 jersey."

Hooker Hall moved back to Glasgow in 2007, having served an apprenticeship with Glasgow Caledonians then stints with both Glasgow and Edinburgh. The 33-year-old has made 122 appearances for the Warriors and has 42 caps for Scotland.

"It was an easy decision to stay at the club," he said. "I'm really enjoying my rugby and I'm part of a very good squad, which is probably the strongest it's been in the time I've been at the club."

Warriors head coach Gregor Townsend said: "It's fantastic news that both Henry and Dougie are staying.

"Henry is a top-class scrum-half who works hard to improve his game and Dougie is a very experienced hooker who has performed consistently well for us over the past couple of seasons."
