Derek Adams, the Ross County manager, is ready to finalise the sale of striker Kevin Luckassen to Slovan Liberec of Czech Republic.

The Dutchman has failed to score in eight starts and seven substitute appearances this season and has been granted time to train with Liberec in the Algarve.

The Czech club have discussed an offer with County and Adams has admitted that the fee involved is too good for the Highland club to turn down. "They have made their intentions known and they would like to take the player. They are looking to finance a deal to do that," said Adams, who also revealed that goalkeeper Michael Fraser has been sidelined after having an appendix operation.

"It would be a good bit of business if it was to happen. Given the money they are talking about, we couldn't say no, really."
