SCOTLAND supporters travelling to Warsaw for the March 5 friendly against Poland have been warned they could end up in a "drunk tank" instead of at the game if they drink too much.

The SFA have told fans: "Those [who are] excessively drunk will not gain access to the stadium. In Warsaw, the police operate a drunk tank policy, ie if you are deemed to be very drunk you may end up in one of these centres."

Supporters were warned before Euro 2012 they could expect to be stripped of their clothes and denied the right to make phone calls if taken to a sobering-up centre.

The fate of those who resisted could include being hosed with ice-cold water, drugged or strapped to a bed, it was claimed.
