JIM JEFFERIES, the Dunfermline manager, has criticised Callum Morris after the defender snubbed the club's offer of a new deal.

The 24-year-old is out of contract and Jefferies has already persuaded midfielders Andy Geggan and Josh Falkingham to pen new agreements that include a clause allowing them to leave for a nominal fee this summer if his side fail to be promoted.

"Credit to Geggs and Josh for at least showing that they are prepared to help us get something if they move on," he said. "That is what is disappointing me most about Callum. We weren't holding him back, the break clause was always going to be less than what we valued him at."
