Albion Rovers have announced they will donate £10,000 from their William Hill Scottish Cup windfall to charity.

The League Two outfit will hand the sum over to the Cash for Kids charity.

The Coatbridge club are set to benefit to the tune of £250,000 after taking new League One champions Rangers to a quarter-final replay.

Sky has already screened the first game between the sides which ended in a 1-1 draw and will now televise Monday night's decider at New Douglas Park.

Rovers chairman John Devlin said on his club's website: "So often Albion Rovers as a club have gone cap in hand to others looking for sponsorship and money.

"We are absolutely delighted to give £10,000 to the Cash For Kids Appeal."
