Ross McCormack has been nominated for the English Championship Player of the Year award.

The Leeds United captain and Scotland striker, who is the league's top scorer with 23 goals, has been short-listed alongside Leicester City midfielder Danny Drinkwater and Burnley forward Danny Ings - the winner will be announced on Sunday

McCormack, who started last week's international friendly win in Poland, has been involved in around 75% of Leeds' goals this season through strikes and assists.

Former Dundee and Scotland Under-21 midfielder Kevin McDonald is on the short-list for the English League 1 award following a stand-out season at Wolverhampton Wanderers.
