Terry Butcher has wished St Johnstone counterpart Tommy Wright a speedy recovery from illness and joked that Hibs might fare better if he also stayed away from tomorrow's match.

Wright was taken into hospital earlier this week with stomach pains, leaving assistant Callum Davidson and coach Alex Cleland to deal with the visit of Hibs.

Butcher does not believe Wright's absence will have any effect on the home side and, after his own team coped comfortably when he was sitting out a touchline ban back in December. "I think the St Johnstone players will probably enjoy it. I'm sure my players enjoyed it when I was in the stand suspended," he said.

"Maybe I won't go to the game either! But I wish him well. He's a great guy."
