KENNY McLEAN, the St Mirren midfielder, will not be joining Yeovil Town this summer after the Sky Bet Championship strugglers ruled out a move for the Scotland under-21 internationalist.

Yeovil are one of a number of clubs to be linked with McLean, who is out of contract this summer. But Gary Johnson, the manager at Huish Park, has admitted that his club will not be in the running. "It's nice to be linked and it's good that teams are linking us with players moving on," he said. "But that player will cost someone £350,000."

McLean has also been linked with a summer move to Rangers.
