IT may only be one of 29 this season, but Rory McAllister's strike on Saturday will be etched on his memory for a long time.
Not only did the charismatically lethal forward add to his incredible personal tally, but it also clinched the SPFL League 2 title for Peterhead, the first silverware in the club's history, and his first medal in professional football.
"It's unbelievable. I've never won anything in my life," said McAllister. "It's a great feeling. I'm as high as a kite and all the boys are buzzing. We deserve to be at that level and we will just see what next season brings.
"If the boys create chances I will score goals, and the boys have been brilliant this season. We are all delighted."
Jim McInally, his manager, was one of those delighted. "We had a poor first quarter to the season, so to have 70 points is quite phenomenal," he said. "Peterhead have never won anything before so to have brought them into the history books is fantastic. It's brilliant for the club and for the town. We've won a lot of games and deserve all the credit we get."
Now begins the preparation for life in League 1. That, unfortunately, may be without former Aberdeen striker McAllister, who is sure to be top of lot of clubs' summer wish-lists.
"Someone has got to come and buy him," McInally admitted. "I would love to sell him. I tried to get him to Rangers last year. For me he would have scored 40 goals for Rangers. When we were at Ibrox last year he tore Rangers apart and when we played them at Peterhead, the first time we played them, he tore Rangers apart, and he wouldn't have cost them a penny. I would love to see him playing at a better level but football is a funny game. People have never taken a chance on him."
For Clyde, they still have three games left to secure their place in the end of season play-offs and the hope of joining Peterhead in League 1.
"It's a day for Peterhead and I congratulate Jim and his team," said Jim Duffy, the Clyde manager. "I felt it was an even game, but for us the play-offs have always been our aim."
