The Seattle Reign coach Laura Harvey lavished praise on Kim Little after the Scotland internationalist found the net twice on her competitive debut for the club.
Little scored Reign's opening two goals, the first from the penalty spot, as they beat Boston Breakers 3-0 at home in their opening National Women's Soccer League match.
"I can say 'I told you so'," Harvey said, when asked about Little's player-of-the-match performance. "She only landed here on a plane from Bosnia [after Scotland's World Cup qualifier] 24 hours before the match. I can tell you now, you've seen nothing yet. Kim is a goalscorer and a winner and there's a lot more to come."
Jess Fishlock, the former Glasgow City midfielder, also played in the win, which put Seattle top of the NWSL.
