Roy MacGregor, the Ross County chairman, says that his team's management staff and players have stumped up to help pay for supporters to travel to Saturday's match away to Hearts.

County are to provide free buses to a game which has been dubbed "Dark Blue Saturday".

It is hoped that County fans will turn out wearing dark blue at Tynecastle as the club seeks to bolster their backing for the crucial final fixtures of the campaign.

"The management and players donated money to the cause," said MacGregor, whose side are just a point above the relegation play-off place. "It shows how much it means to get as many people to Edinburgh as possible."
