Ross McCormack says he is "humbled" after being named in England's Professional Footballers' Asscociation Championship team of the year.
The 27-year-old Scotland forward has been one of the few bright spots for Leeds United in a miserable season, scoring 29 goals The club captain is reportedly attracting interest from a host of Barclay's Premier League sides after a dazzling campaign in which he is leading scorer in the Championship.
McCormack Tweeted: "Thanks for all the messages. Really humbled to be in the team of the year."
With awards season in full swing, McCormack was runner-up to Burnley's Danny Ings, who was named Championship player of the year by the Football League.
Another Scotland internationalist, Craig Bryson, was also named in the PFA team after a splendid season at the heart of Derby County's midfield.
