Paul Hartley, the Dundee manager, can recall clearly the moment he won the league on the last day, as Celtic clinched the championship in 2008 with a win away to Dundee United.

The former midfielder is determined to emulate the feat across the road at Dens Park tomorrow.

Dundee will win the SPFL Championship with a win at home to Dumbarton, although any result could be enough so long as Hamilton Academical lose to Morton. Hartley is relishing the opportunity to earn his first silverware as a manager.

"Winning the title in 2008 at Tannadice was special," he said. "We knew then we had to go and win the game and it's the same for us on Saturday."

The fixture offers a thrill for Ian Murray, the Dumbarton manager, too. "[It] is going to be a sell-out crowd," he said.
