Gary Holt, the Falkirk manager, has offered new contracts to eight players, regardless of which league the club will play in next season.

They could still clinch the title in the SPFL Championship tomorrow and will at least contest the play-offs.

Michael McGovern, Kieran Duffie, Blair Alston, David McCracken and Luke Leahy are all out of contract at the end of the season and have been offered new contracts. Improved terms have also been offered to coveted teenagers Conor McGrandles and Craig Sibbald.

A new deal is also likely to be put in front of striker Rory Loy, who is attracting interest after scoring 20 goals this season. "The directors have been very supportive and I'm hopeful the players will all agree terms and we can move on with confidence," said Holt.
