TIM KEYES, the American who has invested in Dundee, last night promised Paul Hartley money for new players to make the step up to the SPFL Premiership.
The Texas-based businessman made the trip across the Atlantic at the weekend to see his side secure the Championship title by defeating Dumbarton 2-1. The Tayside club are now in the process of trying to build a squad capable of holding their own in the top flight.
"Looking ahead, these are exciting times," Keyes admitted. "We couldn't really calculate everything as regards the budget until we knew what division we would be in.

"That's just good business sense.Now, though, we can say that we will be supporting the manager and the club. We have to find the right players, whether that be the ones we have now or new ones that we need."
