Rangers will be bolstered by a £50,000 payment from FIFA after Arnold Peralta was named among the 23-man Honduras squad for the World Cup.

The midfielder will be joined in Brazil by Emilio Izaguirre, the Celtic full-back, and former Hibernian midfielder Jorge Claros.

FIFA compensate clubs with £50,000 per player to secure their services for the tournament. The money will likely be welcomed by the cash-strapped Ibrox club, while Celtic could also receive as much as £250,000 as compensation for England's Fraser Forster, Greece's Georgios Samaras, Nigeria's Efe Ambrose and Australia's Tom Rogic.
